HeyCharge GmbH, headquartered in Munich, is a full-service provider for charging electric cars in apartment buildings. With HeyCharge, it is possible to switch charging points (sockets) in a personalized manner and to bill the energy consumption to the respective user.
SOTEC supports HeyCharge in the development of the hardware, software and an app for the mobile application. Through the HeyCharge SecureCharge module, a charging process can be started in a personalized manner via an encrypted Bluetooth connection between the mobile app and the hardware module. The energy consumption is transferred from the module to the cloud via the mobile app at the end of the charging process. This means that it is not necessary to have an Internet connection while starting or stopping the process. Charging is billed for individual users via the HeyCharge portal. This eliminates the need for tedious meter reading by the homeowner.
A large number of pilot installations have already been carried out, which have so far produced exclusively positive feedback. Therefore, the production of further devices is being driven forward so that additional customers can be served.
